Garden XL believe delivery should be quick, easy and hassle free. Our courier services are carefully selected, and we expect your order to be efficiently delivered to you in excellent condition.
- Please check the packaging on your goods for damage and make a note of this when signing for them. ONLY sign as "received in good condition" if that is ACTUALLY the case. If the goods have been damaged in transit, please refuse the delivery at this stage.
- Most medium-sized and large orders require a signature upon delivery. If you are unable to sign, please arrange for your order to be delivered to a place where it can be signed for (such as your place of work or a neighbours house).
- If you are out when our courier arrives they will leave a card. Please contact the courier on the card to arrange for a convenient time for re-delivery. If the courier is unable to get a signature on the second delivery attempt they will leave a card a final time telling you where you need to go to collect your goods. Any further deliveries will require an additional payment by the customer.
Delivery of Larger and Bulkier Products
Whilst we will make every effort to deliver your purchases within 48 hours (normally next day), bulky items like large barbecues, garden furniture, and any oversized items can require specialised delivery services (particularly Garden Furniture Sets). Delivery of these items will take place Monday to Friday between 8.00am-6.00pm. Our dispatch team will contact you to co-ordinate a convenient day for delivery. Please contact us if you intend to purchase any such item to confirm delivery and stock availability.
Busier Period orders and Deliveries disclaimer (April to July and December)
Whilst we make every effort to deliver your goods as quickly as possible during the busier times as stated above, stock levels will start to deplete and the delivery services will be pushed to their maximum capabilities. To avoid disappointment, please order your goods as early as possible. Please contact us if you require an estimated delivery date (please include your order details).
Temporarily out of stock
If any problems are encountered, such as a longer delivery time is required or items are temporarily out of stock, we will notify the customer as soon as possible and a new delivery time will be arranged. If a new schedule cannot be arranged, then the customer will be offered a full refund.
All delivery times shown on the website are best estimations but cannot be guaranteed.

We use Royal Mail or a private courier service, depending upon the total weight of your order. Our experienced dispatch staff select the best courier service for your products.

Surcharges are generated automatically by our website, dependent upon the postcode you want us to ship to. The following charges apply to the areas listed below. (To see postcode designations, hover over the relevant title.)
